Day 5: Breisach, Germany & The Black Forest
We did “The Black Forest” excursion in the morning and it was the only excursion that I was truly disappointed in… We drove on the autobahn, and our guide told us some interesting history as we passed through quaint little towns, but the destination was definitely a tourist trap. So, I took a picture with a local cow. 
That afternoon we wandered into Breisach, where we were docked, and climbed up to the cathedral for the view. Then I found a grocery store… I love shopping like a local to see what kinds of things they have 
When we got back, Mom and Dad started feeding the ducks outside their French Balcony, and it almost turned into a scene straight out of The Birds…followed by a gorgeous, peaceful sunset.
